Food pantry project

Food is an essential human need, particularly after a disaster. As such, one of Lach-Initiatives strategies to save lives and mitigate hunger and malnutrition in acute emergencies is food assistance.

Lach-Initiative, through her food pantry, implemented cooked meal program as part of her Borno Flood response, feeding four hundred and seventy-eight affected population. This was aimed at meeting nutritional needs of affected populations on a temporary basis, thereby strengthening their ability to prevent illness, promote and maintain their health, in line with our mission statement.  Our experience proves this as integral, and we want to be able to replicate this, whenever and wherever humanitarian crises and needs occur within the country.

This is only achievable through your donations.
